A Season of Cross-over

What a whirlwind season of activity its has been. I normally try and have some down time over the christmas period where I pray and get direction from the Lord for the next season. This year however it seems that I am having to play catch up with time. Life has got so busy for me. God is good in the modest of it all though. I had just the most phenomenal time in Dubai, Malaysia and Oman in November/ December. It’s fantastic to see what God is doing in these nations! Just lots of glory and fun extension of his kingdom. Also I had amazing time in Malaysia, eating frogs legs for the first time too (Yummy!) God released a strategic prophetic word over the city of Segamat which has in part been fulfilled as leaders have reported back. This city is small but God is doing something amazing there. We saw God break in powerfully as many churches from different denominations came together to believe God for an outpouring of Grace in there city. Already the town planners are changing the way the water moves as is prophesied in this video:

I do believe this year is going to be full of breakthroughs and exciting advances for the kingdom. Here is a prophetic word I brought in Decmebr 2010. i emailed some close friends for accountability and you will see that a number of events have come to pass already. These predictions and fulfillment are not be the main focus, it’s the message of a cross-over season that is to encourage and build us up. This is not the full transcript of the word but contains the jist of what I felt God is saying:

I believe the Lord is about to move in the miraculous (creative, unusual and healing terminal illnesses) into a new level of significant increase in the UK. This will essentially begin in the church with a fresh move of Holy Spirit activity which will be inconvenient, with extraordinary displays of his manifested glory. I believe that there will be a number of places that will host a residential glory anointing. Actual physical places will seem to have an attraction for the glory of God and many will find radical freedom and breakthrough. I saw God do this in churches and streams beyond our movement. Suddenly we will be hearing of break out of glory.

 A season of Cross over:

This will be merged with a radical understanding of the priesthood of all believers and personal, friendship evangelism will come with a new authority as the church gets free. The emphasis of kingdom influence will only be as effective as the power with which we will move in. The message of sonship and kingdom will become central in flowing in this unusual anointing. I felt the Lord speak to me out Mark 6, where as Jesus crosses over into a new region and immediately people recognized him and the miraculous begin to break out. The whole region was affected. I believe God is about to release genuine apostolic authority that will contend for regional breakthroughs. It will be marked by a sudden recognition of Jesus. It is the season of cross over. On every level in the kingdom, it’s time for cross over.

At the same time I felt like, over the next few years there would be an increase in the failing structures of government, mammon and the cataclysmic events of weather pattern change. I believe this will begin to create a culture ripe for revival.

I could see something happening in the heart of the nation. I heard the words, Birmingham on fire! Birmingham on Fire! I saw smoke over Birmingham and I could see and exposing of terrorist activity that would be a massive uncovering of an underground terrorist movement in the UK (this happened last year-link). Navigating travel in airports will become increasingly affected both by weather patterns and terrorist attempts. I see new legislation around passport control and the access of borders coming. It will not be convenient or easy travel.

I felt also that there would be another shaking in the economy with a number of significant moral issues exposed with key government figures. God is about to expose some things in the political world. The shifting powers to the east will come calling and there will be a new way of doing things concerning money. I feel like there is going to be something to do with currency. I could see myself looking in on conversation with key political figures, who were dressed in european flags agreeing on currency and ways of working together in terms of a new economic reform coming to the UK and the EU (the current issues around money began in the second half of the year!). This will be ignited because of increasing control of money being held by the east.

I could also see increased extremities in weather patterns. This will have an effect on the UK, both in terms of natural resources being depleted and an increased dependency on other nations to help maintain things. I could see failing crops and fields where soil was no longer conducive to planting. I could also see a longstanding brand to do with farming need a bail out in order to continue to employ many. I felt there was going to be some floods on the east coast of the USA(it will be an unusual phenomenon to the USA), I am not sure what to do with this other than pray, as I feel this is not judgement but an opportunity for breakthrough in the Kingdom (this happened and is now well documented!-link). I feel like there will be many key  kingdom initiatives that will be headed up by professionals and business men. There will be a new way of doing church planting and kingdom advance through many professionals and business men/ woman been released. Even to some of these devastated areas in the west.

I believe we will are going to see some of these signs in the second half of the year 2011. This will all give an opportunity for demonstrating the Kingdom in a radical way. It will need men and woman who will move in extra-ordinary demonstration of power. This season will bring with it an opportunity for cross over. This will be about crossing denominations and streams and churches. It will get more blurred as the church finds their voice together. This cross over will see a phenomenal release of power for whole regions that many will travel to in order to receive. As in the season of Toronto, where there was a significant momentum in church planting and evangelism and it was mentioned in the media, even so there will be a significant secular media connection to the move of God. This will be a positive thing rather than a negative. God is about to bring the church out into a season of visitation marked by worship, miracles, unusual manifestations and many salvations (check out the glory cloud that appeared @ Bethel-Link). It’s the season of Cross-Over.

These are just some of my thoughts that I believe will spill over into 20 12. In my next blog I will continue with talking on the Christ Anointing…This is a season to be excited about! Wait to see the unusual and exciting breaking in of God’s glory…He is eager to bless!
